Cars 2 is a 2011 computer animated film which was produced by Pixar. Cars 2 is the sequel of the 2006 film- Cars. This animated film was distributed by Walt Disney Pictures which was released in the US on June 24, 2011 in digital 3D and IMAX 3D.
Cars 2 is actually an entertaining film movie that kids of all ages will surely love to watch. However, there are scenes in the movie that contain heavy violence. That is why I am quite surprised that this movie has been rated G. It provides life and death action sequences. For parents who got preschooler kids, this may not be suitable for them because of violent actions portrayed by the characters. Parents should first preview the movie before letting their kids watch it. There are lots of explosions as well as cars getting blown up or even tortured.
When I saw the movie in the big screen, I was impressed on the panoramic scenes that include thrilling auto races. What I love most about this movie, Cars 2 is the storyline because it is quite intriguing particularly on the character of Mater which is the voice of Larry the Cable Guy and Lightning McQueen-the voice of Owen Wilson. There are also great messages that depicted in this movie about friendship and loyalty which kids should learn to value. For those people who want to bring back their childhood days, Cars 2 is perfect to reminisce those days.
To make the movie more exciting, the plot has been injected with some spy-thriller actions complete with secret weapons, sinister villains, and clandestine agents. But still, its predominant thrill is car racing.
