127 Hours is a biographical adventure / drama film that opened in theaters on the 5th of November 2010. The film is directed by Danny Boyle, who made Slumdog Millionaire a hit. The lead character is being played by James Franco. The other actors in the film are Kate Mara, Amber Tamblyn, Clemence Poesy, Lizzy Kaplan, and Kate Burton.
The movie depicts the life a climber who got trapped in Blue John Canyon. Aron Ralston is mountain climber who decided to go into Canyonlands National Park in Utah on his own. He met two girls where he convinced them to let him guide them to a more scenic route. Then he continued to travel alone. On a particular passage, as he descends a loose rock fell on top of his arm. He yelled for help but no one is around. Knowing he is alone on this uninhabited terrain he began rationing his food. As his food dwindles he was desperate to get out of the situation. Will he survive or die in this unforgiving place?
This is a movie a feel-good movie that will raise your hopes. The struggle of a man to survive makes us feel that if you have faith then there is always hope at the end of a dark tunnel. It will be worth your while to watch this movie.
